NOTICE AND TAKE DOWN
Notice and take down is a process operated by online hosts in response to court orders or allegations that content is illegal. Content is removed by the host following notice. Notice and take down is widely operated about copyright infringement and libel and other illegal content. and In the United States and European Union law, notice and takedown are mandated as part of limited harbor liability, or safe harbor, provisions for online hosts ( see the Digital Millennium right Act 1998 and the Electronic Commerce Directive 2000).
As a condition for limited liability online hosts must expeditiously remove or disable access to the content they host when they are notified of the alleged illegality.
WHAT IS DMC TAKEDOWN?
A DMCA takedown is when content is removed from a website or internet platform at the request of the owner.
The DMCA takedown is a well established well-established and accepted internet standard copyrighted and followed by website owners and internet service providers everywhere.
RIGHT TO PROCESS:
Any owner of the content has the right to process a takedown notice against a website owner and /or an online service provider ISP.
If the content owner's property is found online without their permission
The MDCA is part of US copyright law, a DMCA takedown does not always require the content to be too copyrighted in a well-lighted, established are about, process a takedown notice, and for the content to be taken down by the website owner or OSP.

It is important to act quickly. Often stolen content is redistributed to many websites for republication. Try and get a list of as many websites or platforms where your content may have been republished without your permission.

WHAT DO I NEED TO FILE A DMCA TAKEDOWN NOTICE?
Three main pieces of information are needed to get started filing a DMCA Takedown Notice:
1. INFRINGING URL
Where on the internet ( or platform like Facebook or TikTok) is your stolen content located?
What is the link that you want the content removed from?
Be sure to provide the URL or website/ webpage link of the content you want to be removed.
If the stolen content is an image or video located on a website provide a direct link to the content contained on the site.
Copy and paste the infringing text, or provide the URL of the infringing image required
2. SOURCE URL:
WHERE WAS YOUR CONTENT LOCATED WHEN IT WAS STOLEN?
Provide the exact URL where it was stolen from, even if the content has already been removed from its original location.
The original URL is still valuable to the notice.
If it was not online you can reference cell phone, computer, camera, etc.
If it is online such as a website or cloud storage provide the link to the exact page it was stolen from.
You can upload the original content to a cloud storage service and provide that URL with an explanation of where it was originally stolen from.
3. DISCRIPTDESCRIPTIONION OF OWNERSHIP:
What is the content owner's name and how was the content stolen?
How is this content yours?
How do own it?
Who is claiming ownership of the content?
Did you buy it, create it, copyright it?
Who is authorized to file the DMCA Takedown?
When did you create the content and when was the content stolen?
