WOMEN’S PLACE IN OUR SOCIETY
Gone are the days when a woman was considered inferior to a man. she had to shower affections upon others. As a girl, she had always to endure the preference given to her brother. As a wife, she was to be the slave to her husband. As a mother, she had to make sacrifices for the sake of her children.
But new times brought new changes. It is only modern education due to the old outlook underwent a great change. In the present age, she is no more slave to man. She is aware of her worth. She knows that she is equal to a man. She is conscious that man and woman are the two wheels of the same carriage. She enjoys equal rights with men. She is taking an active part in outdoor life. She is working as an air hostess, steno typist, journalist, artist, writer, actress, nurse, doctor, computer programmer, officer, pilot, and teacher.

2012 to 2017, the government of Punjab introduced and implemented several
significant measures to counter gender-based discrimination, violence
against women and the economic and social empowerment of women. Positive steps
have also been taken to encourage and promote women’s participation in the
political process and the workforce, while education remains a key
priority for the government |
WOMEN’S FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS
These rights include the right to live free from violence, slavery, and discrimination; to be educated; own property; vote and earn a fair and equal wage. as now the famous saying “woman’s rights are human rights” that is to say, women are entitled to all of these rights.
PAKISTANI WOMEN’S SUFFRAGE RIGHT
Pakistani women were granted
the suffrage in 1947, and they have reaffirmed the right to vote in national
elections. in 1956 under the interim constitution ……the 1961 Muslim Family Law
ordinance and polygamy continues to have a significant legal impact on the
women of Pakistan.
