Definition:
The term " Executive " has been defined both in its broad and narrow forms. In its broad form, it is taken to mean all the functionaries, political power- holders ( Political Executive) and permanent civil servants who undertake the execution of laws and policies and run the administration of state.
Executive in Political Science:
Executive in politics, a person or persons constituting the branch of government charged with executing or carrying out the laws and appointing officials, formulating and instituting foreign policy, and providing diplomatic representation.
What is executive example in Political Science?
For example, the Prime Minister and the President, the Chief Minister and the Governor, IAS, IPS,IFS, etc.
Who is Executive in Pakistan?
The Executive branch consists of the cabinet and is led by the Prime Minister. It is totally independent of the legislative branch that consists of a bicameral parliament. The Upper House is the Senate whilst the National Assembly is the lower house.
